Boarding points for canal cruise in Leeuwarden
We offer several places in Leeuwarden city centre to embark.
Our regular boarding point is the jetty t/o Grand Café De Brass at Nieuwestad 71.
Alternative boarding points
These only apply to groups, not to regular roundtrips with boarders.
For example, if you have a guided tour of the Blokhuispoort or you have arranged a dinner at restaurant ‘Proefverlof’, it makes more sense to board at the Blokhuispoort for the canal cruise.
In consultation, this is all possible.

1. Nieuwestad opposite Reastaurant ‘Roast’
This is our regular boarding jetty

2. City Theatre ‘De Harmonie’
Especially for people with poor mobility.
There is one disabled parking space there and parking is best in parking basement ‘Zaailand’.

3. Blokhuispoort (frontside)
The praam is here under the Gate Bridge.
In the car park in front of the Blokhuispoort, you can go down the stairs in the corner.

4. Blokhuispoort (backside)
At the Blokhuispoort arrangement, you can board here.

5. Voorstreek (by arrangement)

Here you can board in combination with our Copper Garden package.
