General terms and conditions

Our general terms and conditions are nice and short, honest and clear without any difficult words. Would you rather read a complicated version anyway? Then take a look at these general terms and conditions specially prepared for (sailing) trips.

1. Definitions

Rondvaart Praamverhuur Leeuwarden is the organisation with which you make an agreement to organise a fun outing for your group.
Guest, passenger and/or customer are you and the group you are organising an activity for.

3. Applicability

These general terms and conditions apply when you make use of our services, submit a request for a quotation or make a booking with us.

4. Offer

You will always receive a detailed quotation by e-mail so that you know exactly what we can offer you and what price you will pay for it. In the unlikely event that we make a mistake in our quote? Then of course we will do our best to honour the offer. Except when it is clear that it is a blunder which you should have known is impossible to fulfil.

5. Confirmation

After approval, you will always receive a confirmation by e-mail as final booking confirmation. To avoid any confusion, we stick to the agreements we made with you in this confirmation.

6. Prices

All prices quoted include VAT. On sailing and non-alcoholic catering it is 9%, on all other activities and alcoholic drinks the high VAT rate of 21% applies. 

7. Payment

Groups:
You can always pay on board by PIN, cash or we will send a payment request. If you want an invoice as a company, VAT will be added. This sounds like twice the VAT but is actually the administration fee. A standard payment term of 14 days applies to all our invoices.
Booking online:
Pay by clicking on the payment link in the e-mail you received with the invoice. Payments can be made via iDeal and credit card and are processed by our payment provider iZettle. You will receive confirmation by e-mail immediately after payment.
In some cases, these payment conditions may be deviated from in consultation. Other payment conditions are always confirmed by e-mail with an adapted invoice.

8. Cancelling

You can cancel free of charge up to one week in advance, after which we will charge you for the cruise. (with the exception of bad weather conditions on the day itself).

9. Complaints

If you have a complaint, we are of course very sorry. 
Please let us know as soon as possible if you have a complaint. Then we can best help you.
We prefer to help you immediately, but if that is not possible, within 2 working days.
We always do our best to rectify a complaint, whatever it may be.

10. Advertising/photos

      For promotional purposes, we sometimes use pictures taken on board or from the shore.
