Family business: Canal Barge Rental
A century ago, you saw the Frisian Boerepraam (Farmersbarge) everywhere in the vast landscape. The barge was used as a working vessel for farmers. We want the Frykse Boerepraam to keep sailing around and so we can also promote Leeuwarden as a beautiful water city.
Besides the groups we sail with, we also have our regular departures from the jetty on the Nieuwestad opposite ROAST.
Here you can enjoy our Second Screen Canal tour. On board is a large screen showing old photos of Leeuwarden offered to us by the Historical Centre of Leeuwarden.
