Second Screen Canal Tour:
As we find traditional canal tours out of date and boring, we have developed the so-called ‘Second Screen Grachten Toer’. In cooperation with the HCL (Historisch Centrum Leeuwarden), we have selected about 50 historical photos of places of interest along each route.

You can see the photos on a video screen in front of the barge. This gives you a nice picture of the past (=First Screen) and the present (=Second Screen).

Can I do that?
To make it as easy as possible, we have made a book of all the routes we sail, which you can study for yourself. Each picture is accompanied by facts, anecdotes and trivia. Of course, you are free to add your own insights. Of course, you can come along a few times first to get a taste of the atmosphere and how it all works.
