Whiskey tasting with Café De Markies
In cooperation with the Café De Markies, we also provide this whiskey tasting on board the ‘Grutte Pier’. (min.10 pers.)
During a 1.5-hour praam cruise, you can enjoy 6 different whiskeys complemented by snacks. We will explain the style, brewery, origin and other fun facts about each whiskey. Of course, you will also enjoy all the beauty that Leeuwarden has to offer in a special way. De Markies also offers beer tasting and wine tasting on request.
A maximum of 20 people can board. Expansion with an extra boat is possible.

For each whiskey, we have carefully selected the best cheese or sausage that combines best with the respective whiskey.
Of course, it may be that on the day you've booked it's washing down with rain. No worries, then the tasting can simply go ahead at Special Beer Café De Markies.
