Specialbeer Café De Markies
In cooperation with the Special Beer Café De Markies, we provide various beer tastings on board the ‘Grutte Pier’ praam.
During a 1.5-hour praam cruise, you can enjoy 6 different beers, possibly complemented by cheeses. We will explain the style, brewery, origin and other fun facts about the beer in question. Naturally, you will also enjoy all the beauty that Leeuwarden has to offer in a special way. De Markies also offers wine tasting and whiskey tasting on request.
A maximum of 20 people can travel on board. Expansion with an extra boat is possible. Afterwards, you are welcome in our beer café, where you can toast a delicious Grutte Pier tripel.
Of course, it is possible that on the day you have made your reservation, it is raining. No worries, in that case the tasting can simply continue in Special Beer Café De Markies.
