The Bonifatius Walk preferably starts at the Bonifatius Chapel (the chapel will be visited). Canal Cruise + Dockumer Lokaeltsje

At the beginning of the last century, a little boat train ran from Dokkum to Leeuwarden.

The memory of this rustic little train is kept alive. On Wednesday and Saturday afternoons in July and August, the Lokaeltsje drives past Dokkum's most beautiful spots. The driver tells all kinds of interesting facts during the ride.
